I’ll work to help you become friends with your emotions and the important messages that they’re communicating. We’ll explore interpersonal interactions, and the way you react to different events.
I primarily use an Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) approach when working with individual clients. I do occasionally integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, and mindfulness-based approaches into my practice to fit my client’s needs.
We’ll work collaboratively to identify your goals for therapy. Once identified, we’ll discuss the different options available. I see most clients for 8 to 20 sessions on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
